• Hearts of Surfing as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers adaptive sufing and skateboarding for kids with autism and related developmental disabilities.

• Founded in 2014 by Cidy and Bob Fertsch in honor of their son Jamie, who had autism. Tragically Jamie passed suddenly of a seizure in 2020.

• We continue our mission of Heart of Surfing to honor our sons legacy.

• Over the years, we have grown significantly. We take 90+ children with autismsurfing every Saturday all summer long at the Jersey Shore.

• We also offer sensory friendly roller skating and ice skating in the winter months.
