Rain date: December 21.

During this event, the Fire Department will drive through Sea Isle City with Santa Claus onboard a fire engine, briefly stopping at pre-registered addresses, where they will distribute candy canes.

Sea Isle City residents and property owners who would like to add their address to the list of homes Santa visits that day can phone Sea Isle’s Recreation Office (609-263-0050) by 4:00 PM on December 12.

The Candy Cane Drive-By will begin in Sea Isle’s north-end (near 1st Street) and will continue south until it passes all of the registered properties. The amount of time required to reach all of the registered homes will depend on the number of individual addresses that are included on Santa’s route that day (so please be patient as you wait to hear the fire sirens as they approach). 

Please Note: People in registered properties on dead-end streets (ex: beach blocks) are asked to walk to the nearest corner when they hear the fire sirens approaching.  This will prevent Santa and his firefighter friends from having to back-up the fire engines before continuing with the procession.
